It differs from the classic Hypoid GL 5 gear oils in its multifunctional character. It has exceptional oxidation and thermal stability. Special additives result in higher gear efficiency and thus reduced fuel consumption. CALICON UN89 Multigrade low‑friction gear oil is a universal gear oil, specially developed for manual transmissions and rear axles of cars, light and heavy trucks, where a gear oil according to API GL 4 or GL 5 is required. It is ideal for universal use in workshops.
